It was funny, to Nymeria, how stupid the humans could be in regards to something as beautiful as the Scarlet Lake. This was the place of worship to the vampires and it was naturally scarlet, no blood from victims required. Theyre almost as worthless as the things they claim to rule.The coven leader said out loud. It had been an easy three thousand years, give or take a few centuries, since she had actually started to hate the humans. There was something about them that just irked her and she knew exactly what it was. If it hadn't been for her weak body all those years ago she wouldn't have had to watch her best friend leave her. If she had been born a vampire it would have been much easier to protect herself from the rogue immortal and he friend and old king wouldn't have left her.
